Welcome to British Columbia's 20th annual Summer Reading Club website!
Are you ready to shake, rattle, and yell for more? Then you’re ready for this year’s theme: READING ROCKS!
Books can make you want to jump up and dance, run out and share your excitement with the world, question everything you thought you knew, or lose yourself in the rhythm of the words. So why not celebrate reading with a province-wide party? Special "Reading Rocks!" themed reading records, stickers, fun activities and prizes add to the fun.
Over 80,000 kids across British Columbia and beyond will be rocking with books this summer. Check out the links on this website to find cool games, quizzes, activities, colouring sheets, and lots of summer reading suggestions, with titles that will have you riddling, roaring, and raising a ruckus.
Then bop on down to your local public library to sign up for the SRC and join the celebration!
